The Establishment Year: ………………..19 th November 1965 started with 3 Sisters.
The purpose of establishment: ………..To work at St. Xavier’s boarding of boys and girls in collaboration with Jesuit Fathers; to work in the dispensary for T.B. and general patients; and for Pastoral works in villages; and mobile clinic in different mission stations. Sisters were staying at Jesuits compound residence.
At present, we have a full fledged Hospital with all the facilities. 12 Sisters are working in the Hospital, 3 Sisters are teaching at St. Xavier’s Jesuit School. In the year 1984 Girls Boarding was separated and Sisters took the full charge of girls boarding and named it as St. Vincent Girls’ Boarding. We have now at present 75 Boarding Children coming from different villages. Beside these works, sisters do Parochial services teach Catechism and do village visits and family apostolate. . In the year 2008 February 3 rd ANM Nursing School was inaugurated. Now 12th batch ANM training is going on.
